Want to move your Bitcoin (BTC) from Gate.io to Kraken? No worries—it’s actually pretty easy. Just follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to your Kraken Account

  1. Go to Kraken.com and log in.

  2. Click “Funding” or “Deposit”.

  3. Search for Bitcoin (BTC).

  4. Click “Deposit” next to Bitcoin.

  5. You’ll see your Kraken Bitcoin deposit address—copy this. (It’ll be a long string of letters and numbers.)

Step 2: Log in to Your Gate.io Account

  1. Go to Gate.io and sign in.

  2. Click on “Wallet” then “Withdraw”.

  3. Choose Bitcoin (BTC) from the list.

Step 3: Paste Your Kraken Deposit Address

  1. In Gate.io’s withdrawal form:

    • Paste the Kraken BTC address you copied earlier.

    • Enter the amount of BTC you want to send.

    • Double-check the address! BTC transactions can’t be undone.

  2. (Optional but recommended): Label it as “Kraken” for future reference.

Step 4: Confirm and Send

  1. Complete any security verifications (like 2FA or email confirmation).

  2. Click Withdraw.

  3. You’ll see a confirmation message—now just wait for the transaction to be processed.

Step 5: Wait for Confirmation

  • It may take 10–60 minutes depending on the Bitcoin network.

  • You’ll see the BTC arrive in your Kraken account once confirmed.

Done!

You’ve now successfully transferred your Bitcoin from Gate.io to Kraken.
